• Facilitates opening: With a hot-forged gate, the Picot Straight provides a large contact surface for the thumb, making it easier to open.
• Snagfree: The lower part of its nose is smoothed to make it easier to unclip from the bolt and the rope.
• Conical Nose: Its pointed, conical nose makes it easy to insert the carabiner into hangers or other connection points precisely and smoothly, without obstacles. It also allows for an easy release during dismantling.
• Keylock: Prevents snags with the rope or hanger during clipping.
• Double anti-rotation bump: Present on the wall-side carabiner, with a protrusion on the body and another on the gate, it reduces the chance of rotation and prevents the sling from slipping through the carabiner, keeping it properly aligned at all times.
• Resistance: With values of 22 kN closed, 8 kN cross-loaded, and 8 kN with the gate open. Complies with EN 12275 standard.
