- How much does it cost? – Custom harnesses are the same price as our stock harnesses. The only additional cost is the fabric you choose and, if necessary, shipping the fabric to us. This usually adds about $15-20 to the cost of the final product.
- What type of fabric should I choose? – Synthetic fabrics usually work the best as they are a bit easier to keep clean and don’t absorb as much moisture. As the fabric is on the outside of the harness and not in contact with the body most should work as long as you take care of your gear. However, thin and stretchy fabric cannot be used to ensure manufacturing of the harness is successful
- Does the fabric change the strength of the harness? – No. All the structural stitching and components remain the same. The fabric is only used on the padding on the outside of the waist and leg loops and is purely cosmetic.
- How do I order? – All you have to do is order the stock model and add a note on checkout that you are sending in fabric.
- How long does it take to ship? Once we receive the fabric production typically takes 1-2 weeks. If you need the harness for a specific date let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
- Where can I buy fabric? Any store that sells fabric by the metre.
- Online Stores

- How much of the design is visible on the finished product? – This depends on the size of the chosen harness. It’s worth keeping in mind when choosing a fabric as large graphics might end up being cropped in the final product.
- How much fabric do I need? – At least a half square meter is more than enough for the harness. If we have enough left over we usually throw in a custom storage bag as well.
- Where do I send the fabric? – Our address can be found on our Contact Us page.
