Our Speleo and Triad harnesses are made specifically for caving. They are designed with low attachment points to facilitate prusiking with the "Frog technique", though the attachment points are not as low as some European harnesses, which can feel very unstable when abseiling.
Both harnesses have removable waist straps to increase the fitting options (women may find that a smaller size waist strap gives the best fit), and both include a small webbing strap between the leg loops which is used for hanging the pack when abseiling or prusiking. This also reduces pressure on the leg loops, making the harness more comfortable.
The Speleo and Triad are made to the usual Aspiring standard. They are reinforced at wear areas - the attachment points and under the leg straps - to prolong the harness's life. Both are reasonably lightweight. As they are fully adjustable, there is some overlap in the fit of the different sizes. See the harness Sizing Table for size fitting.
The Triad harness can be supplied with fixed cowstails stitched to the harness on request, to minimise karabiner requirements.
The harness is available in three sizes, - small, medium, and large, with interchangeable waist straps. The standard colour is black.

The other advantage of this design is that the harness is easy to put on, as once adjusted to fit the user, the buckles do not need to be touched. The D-shape steel maillon rapide can be supplied with the harness.
Also available in three sizes - small, mwedium, and large. The standard colour is black.

| An essential part of any SRT kit, our cavers' chest
harness is adjustable and lightweight. Put on like a jersey, it is easily
attached by means of a small loop and accessory maillon rapide to the chest
ascender. This chest harness complements our two caving harnesses perfectly.
Available in three sizes - small, medium, and large. |

| Chest harnesses used in caving have the job of holding the chest ascender tightly on the chest. They are not part of the safety system and do not have to be very strong. Our chest harness uses plastic buckles to keep the weight down. |
Note: Caving harnesses are designed to be effective for prusiking with the frog technique, which works best with a low attachment point. Therefore a caving harness must not be used for climbing, as the low attachment will cause tipping back in a fall, leading to a likelihood of head injuries.
